Antonella Beconi

Resume

Antonella was born in a beachside town near Tuscany in Italy, close to Pisa and Lucca. She is a professional Italian and German lecturer, and holds a Masters in Foreign Languages and Culture (majoring in German Studies). Antonella has taught Italian and German at universities and schools around the world, including at the University of Sydney where she is undertaking a PhD in Italian Studies.

Antonella has designed and delivered language courses, coordinated and supported strategic projects, and collaborated and liaised with multiple organisations and stakeholders. In 2018, she wrote the article Connecting language students with the work environment: 'Made in Italy: Italian at work', and in 2020 she was awarded the Dean's Citation for Excellence in Tutorials from the University of Sydney.

Antonella is creative and is always looking for new ways of doing things relevant to curricula based-courses, particularly for adult learning. Her teaching philosophy is a lifelong curiosity and a craving for change and improvement. Antonella's teaching method aims to foster enthusiasm and wellbeing alongside knowledge. She also loves meeting new people, and parties!

Kristine Bell

Kristine is a customer and brand growth strategist and market researcher with over 25 years of international experience. She assists start-ups, founders, and small business owners convert more customers through human-centred growth strategies across business, brand, innovation, and communication. 

Kristine holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration, an M.Sc. in Marketing Economics from Copenhagen Business School, and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business in Cape Town. 

Kristine's extensive career includes roles as a strategist, insights specialist, and workshop facilitator in advertising, branding, innovation, and market research. She has worked with a diverse range of clients, including Lion, Ben & Jerry’s, Unilever, YUM Brands (including KFC), GSK, Westpac, Kellogg’s, Tesco, Laser Clinic Australia, Amaysim, UNICEF, Foresight Group Homes, and many more. Throughout her career, she has conducted over 15,000 qualitative consumer, business, and medical interviews. 

Beyond her professional work, Kristine mentors at Fishburners Startup Hub and the New Wave Founders Program at UNSW. She is also a casual tutor and workshop facilitator at UNSW Business School, where she teaches collaboration and innovation. 

Her passion for lifelong learning and teaching drives her to help others achieve their business and personal growth goals.

Rachel Bennett

Rachel is an experienced educator who has taught both junior and senior English and Drama for NSW public schools since 2017. She holds a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education from the University of Sydney, majoring in English Literature and Performance Studies. Additionally, she is accredited by NESA as a Proficient Teacher 

Rachel is passionate about the psychology behind effective learning and habit-building. For the past four years, she has worked exclusively with senior students to support their academic goals and focus on personal development. She is constantly exploring different methods and strategies to enhance study practices and considers herself a lifelong learner. 

Well-read in diverse educational approaches, Rachel has developed a strong understanding of how consistent study habits can set students up for long-term success. Her teaching philosophy focuses on empowering students to develop critical thinking, creativity, and self-reflection, while building solid study routines based on research. 

Rachel currently teaches at Ashfield Boys High School and regularly engages in voluntary education work in her local community.

Trena Blair

Her thought leadership has been featured in Forbes, Business Insider, and CEO Magazine, and she is a multi-award winning businesswoman, and best-selling author of Decoding Global Growth: How successful companies scale internationally.

Caitlin Boucher

Caitlin Boucher is a practical facilitator with expertise in grant and tender writing, as well as fundraising. With over a decade of experience across the nonprofit, startup, and public sectors, Caitlin brings a mix of real-world insight from both sides of the fence, along with hands-on frameworks to her workshops.

Caitlin has supported organisations ranging from small grassroots initiatives to national charities and fast-growing startups, helping them secure millions in funding through successful grant, tender, and philanthropic submissions. She also works with businesses and nonprofits to align funding with strategy, build internal capability and streamline revenue operations.

Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Creative Industries and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She currently manages grant writing and fundraising for St John Ambulance Queensland and consults for a range of nonprofit and startup clients. Caitlin was previously a board director at Greater Whitsunday Innovation and now serves as an Expert in Residence for Young Change Agents.

Antony Brown

Antony is an Adobe and Apple certified instructor with over 15 years of experience teaching design software. He began his training career at Adobe in London, delivering courses in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe XD and Captivate. He has trained with leading London-based training providers and worked in the film and television industry in Soho.

Antony is deeply committed to sharing his expertise and takes pride in the positive impact his training has on his clients.

He has delivered training for a wide range of organisations, including Microsoft, Yahoo, Westpac, the Australian Federal Police, the London 2012 Olympics, and many others.

Antony is an Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop CC, After Effects CS5, Premiere Pro CC and Audition, and holds Adobe Certified Instructor status in Photoshop CC, After Effects CS5, and Premiere Pro CC. He is also Apple certified in Final Cut Pro X and Final Cut Pro 7.

In addition, Antony holds multiple Canva certifications, including Canva Essentials, Canva for Work, Canva AI in the Classroom, Canva Teacher Essentials, Marketing with Canva and Canva Graphic Design Essentials.

Tom Bruce

Resume

Tom Bruce is a French English bilingual. He was born in France and raised in Paris, and later studied French at a University in Paris. Tom has taught French to Japanese students in Tokyo and is now a teacher at the Centre for Continuing Education. He looks forward to teaching French and having fun helping students learn the language. Bienvenue et A Bientot!

Alison Cardinale

Dr Alison Cardinale is an experienced secondary English teacher with a B.A. (Hons) in English Literature and a Master of Teaching qualification from the University of Sydney, along with a PhD in Romantic poetry from ANU. Alison holds a Graduate Diploma in Communications from the University of Technology.

Over the past decade, Alison has taught in a range of Sydney independent schools including Queenwood School for Girls, PLC Sydney and The Scots College. She is currently teaching at Newington College, Stanmore.

Alison has experience teaching the International Baccalaureate alongside senior English courses including HSC English Extension. Additionally, she has recent experience in HSC marking at Advanced and Extension levels.

In 2017, Alison lectured at the University of Sydney for ETA HSC student days. From 2017-2018 she was an academic tutor at the University of Sydney in the Master of Teaching English course ‘Senior Curriculum’.

Her educational philosophy is based on a student-centred approach supported by deep subject knowledge and understanding of syllabus objectives. Sharing passionate engagement with English literature and language in a manner that empowers students and fosters independent inquiry is integral to her approach to learning and curriculum delivery.

Angela Chellas

Angela is a dedicated and engaging international facilitator and speaker. Her extensive and ongoing project experience ensures that participants of her project workshops receive a mixture of theory, actual examples of their application, and practical tips.

For over 20 years, Angela has helped numerous global organisations increase their project management capability and improve efficiencies in their delivery. Some of Angela's notable clients include the Department of Veterans' Affairs, ANSTO, Australian Wool Innovation, PWC, MBM, and NRL. Her experience in the field ensures that she's not only able to provide students with an understanding of the principles of project management, but also give examples of how these can produce successful outcomes on projects. On every new project and program, Angela is constantly learning new skills and techniques which keep her workshops current and relevant.

Angela has a Bachelor of Arts, a Post Graduate Certificate of Marketing and an Advanced Diploma of Project Management. In 2001, she became a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and member of the Project Management Institute. She is a PRINCE2 Practitioner and holds Project+ certification with CompTIA. Angela has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and is also a Myers Briggs accredited facilitator. She sat on the Board of Project Management Institute Sydney Chapter for two years and Nominating Committee for three years.
