Fu Xie

Dr Fu Xie received her PhD in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from the City University of Hong Kong in 2014. Over the past fifteen years, Fu Xie has taught all levels of Chinese language in Chinese linguistics and culture in tertiary institutions in Australia, Hong Kong (SAR) and China.
Fu Xie's research interests are in applied linguistics, especially second language acquisition (SLA) and language pedagogy, discourse pragmatics, and Chinese linguistics. She published several journal papers and textbooks, and doing research helped her appreciate the intricacies of the subjects, which made her always seeking inspiration to improve her teaching strategies. Her students are therefore able to strengthen their language competence and keep motivated to continue learning Chinese.
Paul Yacobellis

Paul Yacobellis has been helping professionals optimise their personal productivity for the past 10 years. He has assisted management and individuals implement time saving, energy maximising techniques. He has lead training sessions that cut out wasteful time, reduce stress, and increase overall well-being. Paul’s techniques range from technical to behavioural.
Paul also has experience in data mining and big data analytics, statistical computing, economic/econometric consulting, spatial statistics and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), transport modelling, and business development. He has consulted with government agencies, private corporations and universities, and has previously taught statistics, mathematics, economics and computer science at the University of Central Florida, Orlando.
Paul holds a Master’s in Statistical Computing (Data Mining track) and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Mathematics.
When not sharing his passion for enhanced personal productivity, Paul works fulltime as data scientist and enjoys parenthood, long-distance running and reading great books.
Onjung Yang

Dr Onjung Yang holds a Bachelor’s degree from Dokkyo University and a Master’s degree from Waseda University, both in Japan. She also has a PhD from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Sydney.
With more than ten years' experience instructing non-native English speaking students and simultaneously leading targeted lesson plans with innovative educational techniques and research activities, Onjung is positioned to positively affect your learning. Her background includes experience teaching at Korean high schools as a leading teacher for Examination for Japanese University, which is the necessary test to enter Japanese universities. She has organised programs for the test on the topics of Japanese culture and history, and essay writing, reading and speaking skills.
Onjung is trilingual – English, Japanese and Korean- and understands the difficulties many students face when learning a foreign language. She has therefore developed various methodologies for assessment tasks, management results and maintaining quality standards according to each students' level. As a result, all of her students have successfully entered Japanese Universities and are spreading their wings across the world.

Clare Yu

Clare is a data analyst and corporate trainer with over 10 years of experience in teaching and training in statistics and various data analysis tools. She holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Science from the University of Sydney, where she specialised in hydrological and digital soil modelling using GIS and machine learning.
Clare has a rich background in environmental science and geospatial analysis, with expertise in tools like ArcGIS, QGIS, Python, R, and Power BI. Her professional experience spans roles at the University of Sydney, Macquarie University, and various research institutes, where she managed large datasets, conducted advanced statistical analyses, and developed geospatial models.
In addition to her academic and professional achievements, Clare is passionate about sharing her knowledge and empowering others through education. Her dedication to continuous learning is reflected in her commitment to creating engaging and accessible learning experiences for her students. Beyond her professional interests, Clare is an enthusiastic Latin dancer, finding joy and creativity in the rhythm and movement of dance.
