This course will further your ability to read, speak, listen and also write the language by covering the themes of basic shopping, getting around, asking for directions and placing an order in a restaurant. It follows the content in the prescribed chapters of the recommended text for reference and practice between sessions.

- Order food and drinks at a hamburger shop
- Describe what kind of home you live in
- Describe what items you have in your home
- Write an email inviting someone to your home
- Ask/say where to put things in the room
- Visit/welcome a friend
- Show someone around your home
- Recognise your name and address on a sign
- State the time you do something
- Talk about your daily routine
- Talk about your schedule for the week
- talk about when to have a party
- Write a birthday card
