Level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

This beginner's course is suitable for those wishing to gain practical ability to communicate in Japanese in various situations in everyday life. No previous knowledge of the language is required.

Outcomes

By the end of this course, you should be able to:

  • exchange greetings in Japanese
  • give a simple self-introduction
  • talk to someone briefly about your family
  • talk about your favourite food/s
  • recognise Japanese characters.
