Paul Kemp has studied visual art at St George Technical College, East Sydney Technical College (National Art School), has a Bachelor of Arts (Visual Art) from the University of Newcastle and an Associate Diploma in Adult Education. He is a practicing artist working in his open studio at the Headland Park Art Precinct, Mosman. Michaela’s extensive experience in the disability sector and passion for all people to be valued citizens makes her a committed and highly regarded director of the Pathways team. She is dedicated to sharing her experiences (professionally and personally), supporting people to lead inclusive self-directed lives and to developing partnerships and participatory leadership opportunities.
Michaela has worked at all levels within organisations, leading the cultural change processes to embed personalisation and community inclusion. Beginning in 2006, Michaela lead the implementation of Person Centred Practices at a large non-government service provider organisation. Establishing a team of 6 Person Centred facilitators, she was the principal advisor in the organisation to develop a strategic commitment of becoming a Person Centred Organisation; the first organisation to do so in NSW.Â

She is a skilled practitioner and trainer of Person Centred Thinking and Planning including Maps, Paths and Lifestyle Planning, Community Connecting, Coaching and Mentoring, Team Building and Planning, Meetings and People skills, Participatory Leadership and Partnership Building. She has worked in the disability sector in NSW (Australia) for over 15 years and has presented at State and National Conferences and facilitated training for government and non-government organisations.

Michaela has strong networks nationally and internationally in the areas of Person Centred Practices, Asset Based Community Development and Participatory Leadership. Michaela has lead the establishment of the Australian Person Centred Association, and is an active member of The (International) Learning Community for Person Centred Practices, The Down Under Institute and In-Control Australia. She leads and contributes to the organisation of national and state conferences and events that champion inclusion and person centredness. The membership of these groups includes people with disabilities, families, international leaders, advocates, government, service providers and community members that share the same values and principles.
Michaela has completed her Diploma in Disability Studies, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Advanced week in Choice Theory and many certificates in the art of massage therapy.

Jason Kent is the founder of Pure Independent Pictures, an initiative dedicated to supporting independent Australian filmmaking. He is currently producing a documentary about the future of the Australian film industry. Jason has been screenwriting since 1998, during which time he has written numerous screenplays, many of which have made the final rounds of screenwriting contests out of the US. He optioned his first screenplay to an Academy Award nominated Australian producer and was funded to write by the Australian Film Commission. Dr Jeff Kildea is an adjunct senior lecturer at the Global Irish Studies Centre, UNSW. He is the author of Anzacs and Ireland (2007), Wartime Australians: Billy Hughes (2008) and Tearing the Fabric: Sectarianism in Australia 1910-1925 (2002) as well as many articles, papers and presentations on Irish, Irish-Australian and First World War history. Jacob Klimstra received his Bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Technical College of Leeuwarden, NL. He joined N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie in 1970 to work on pulsating combustion and on vibrations based gas turbine diagnostics. Jacob subsequently studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Southampton, UK, which was concluded with a Ph.D. thesis on the optimisation of reciprocating engine/compressor combinations. He then worked on the introduction and improvement of cogeneration based on reciprocating engines fuelled by natural gas. During that process, he wrote many international papers on subjects related to reciprocating engines and gave numerous presentations. He also converted diesel buses and boats to natural gas. From 1993 to early 2000, Jacob was Head of Department of Industrial gas Applications at Gasunie Research. In that capacity, he studied modern management techniques and implemented these in research management.
Jacob received the Richard Way Memorial Prize for his Ph.D. thesis, the Van Oostrom Meyjes Prize from The Royal Netherlands Institution of Gas Engineers for his work on engine-driven cogeneration and received 5 Oral Presentation Awards and the Distinguished Speaker Award from SAE. In September 2000, he received the ICE Division Speaker Award from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. In 2003, he became recognised as Registered Energy Advisor.
Jacob is also a paper reviewer for SAE and ASME. He serves in many national and international committees related to energy use and is active as a board member and adviser of educational institutions.
From 2000 to 2009, Jacob was employed by Wärtsilä in Zwolle, NL, as senior specialist for engine-driven power systems fuelled by natural gas. At Wärtsilä, he wrote and presented about 90 papers on energy supply, cogeneration and engine development. In January 2005, he received the 2004 Quality Award from Wärtsilä. In June 2007, Jacob received a Best Paper Award at the PowerGen Europe Conference in Madrid. At the PowerGen Europe 2008 conference, he gave a key note presentation on the future of electricity generation.
In October 2009, Jacob started his own consultancy and develops projects in the field of gas engine technology, electricity grid connections, fuel gas quality, emission reduction and energy supply. In the winter season of 2010-2011, he co-authored the book ‘Smart Power Generation’, describing the challenges of a large-scale introduction of renewable electricity sources. He also presents at international conferences and lectures on energy technology at a number of educational institutes.
