The Confucius Institute

Our Chinese Mandarin courses are offered in association with the Confucius Institute at the University of Sydney. The Confucius Institute is based on a partnership with Shanghai’s Fudan University, in collaboration with the Office of the Chinese Language Council International in China (Hanban). The Institute at the University is one of almost 500 worldwide that teaches millions of people accredited Mandarin courses and other disciplines such as kung fu, tai chi and Chinese art. It also holds events such as art exhibitions, lectures, conferences, film screenings and participates in Chinese festivals.

The Department of Hebrew, Biblical & Jewish Studies

Our Jewish Culture courses course materials are designed by The Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning – a project of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem – and managed through the University’s Department of Hebrew, Biblical & Jewish Studies. Founded in 1945, the department has developed a comprehensive program that explores the complexities of the Old and New Testament, the range of Jewish history and teaches Classical Hebrew and Arabic, along with other ancient languages. Course materials developed by inventor and self-made woman Florence Melton are based on ancient and modern texts and connect students to the past, present and future, linking them to enduring Jewish values and ideas.

The University of Sydney School of Medicine

All of our psychiatry courses are developed and delivered by the Discipline of Psychiatry at Sydney Medical School. Established in 1898, the school conducts teaching and cutting-edge research in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental, emotional and behavioural disorders across six clinical schools and several major teaching hospitals in New South Wales.

Courses are open to health professionals for continuing professional development and selected courses provide points towards CPD accreditation. Our psychiatry courses are available online as well as in a face-to-face setting. Courses are taught by well-known academics including Professor Anthony Harris and Professor Scott Stuart.

School of Project Management
