Jeeson Kim

Dr Jeeson Kim received the B.Eng. degree in semiconductor systems engineering from the Catholic University of Korea, South Korea, in 2011, and the M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from RMIT University, Australia, in 2014 and 2019, respectively. She has experience working as an engineer at SK Hynix, South Korea. Her research interests include nano-enabled hardware security, low-power solutions for cyber-physical systems, and analog and digital designs for neuromorphic systems.Jinman Kim

A/Prof Jinman Kim received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Sydney in 2006. He was an ARC Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Sydney and then a Marie Curie Senior Research Fellow at the University of Geneva, prior to joining the University of Sydney in 2013 as a Faculty member.
Dr Kim’s research is in the application of machine learning (subset of AI) for biomedical image analysis and visualization. His focus is on multi-modal data processing and includes image-omics, multi-modal data processing, and image data correlation to other health data. He has produced a number of publications in this field and received multiple competitive grants and scientific recognitions. Dr Kim is actively involved in his research communities where is an A/Editor TVCJ and the Vice President of the computer graphics society (CGS).
Dr Kim has actively focused on research translation where he has worked closely with clinical partners to take his research into clinical practice. He is the Research Director of the Nepean Telehealth Technology Centre (NTTC) at the Nepean hospital, responsible for translational telehealth and digital hospital research. Some of his research has been developed into clinical software that is being used / trialled at multiple hospitals and his work on Telehealth has been recognised with multiple awards including ‘Health Secretary Innovation Award’ at the NSW Health Innovation Symposium 2016.
Michelle Kim

Michelle holds a Master of Teaching in Secondary Education (Korean Language and TESOL) from the University of Sydney.
As a teacher and lifelong learner, Michelle strives to develop various teaching and learning strategies for teaching Korean in various classroom settings. She likes to make her classes interactive and collaborative, encouraging students to participate in discussions related to the Korean language and diverse perceptions of Korean culture to better understand the functional aspects of grammar.
Stephen Kirchner

Dr Stephen Kirchner is Director of the International Economy Program at the United States Studies Centre at the University of Sydney. He is also a senior fellow at the Fraser Institute in Canada, where he has contributed to research projects comparing public policies in Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
Previously, he was an economist with the Australian Financial Markets Association, where he worked on public policy issues relating to the efficient and effective functioning of Australian financial markets and Australia’s position as a regional and international financial centre.
Stephen has been a research fellow at the Centre for Independent Studies, a senior lecturer in economics at the University of Technology Sydney Business School and an economist with Standard & Poor’s Institutional Market Services based in both Sydney and Singapore. He has also worked as an advisor to members of the Australian House of Representatives and Senate.
He has published in leading academic and think-tank journals, including Public Choice, The Australian Economic Review, Australian Journal of Political Science and The Cato Journal.
His op-eds have appeared in publications including The Wall Street Journal, Straits Times, Businessweek, The Australian Financial Review, The Australian, and Sydney Morning Herald.
Kirchner holds a BA (Hons) from the Australian National University, where he was awarded the L. F. Crisp Prize for Political Science, a Master of Economics (Hons) from Macquarie University, and a PhD in Economics from the University of New South Wales.
Hanna Kivisto

Hanna Kivistö gained her Master’s Degree in International Relations as well as her BA and Master’s Degree in Education at the University of Tampere, Finland.
Ms. Kivistö has an extensive professional experience in international relations. She has worked for the European Union, the United Nations and the Parliament of Finland. Currently she works as a political journalist.
She has also a strong teaching background after working as a teacher and an adult educator for several years.
