Nick Greenwich has been a Lecturer in Visual Arts and Photography at the University of Sydney since 2008. He is a Master Printer and Expert Retoucher, having managed the Print Laboratory for Sydney College of the Arts since 2008. He has previously worked as a Studio Photographer and continues to operate his own private practice in this field. In 2012 Nick was awarded the Outstanding Teaching Award for Excellence in Teaching at the University of Sydney, Faculty of Visual Arts with an average rating by students of 94.5% across all units of study. Nick holds a Master of Fine Arts in Photography, and a Bachelor of Arts (Art History & Theory, Film Theory), both from the University of Sydney.Jennifer Gribble

Jennifer Gribble is Honorary Associate Professor in English at the University of Sydney, where she has taught for over thirty-five years. She holds degrees from the Universities of Melbourne and Oxford. She has published widely in English and Australian Literature. Her interests include the teaching of English in schools, and she has been an examiner and Chief Examiner of HSC English. Mengya Gu is a passionate teacher who has taught Chinese Mandarin at The King’s School, as well as a number of other primary and secondary schools in Sydney. She strives to grow participant interest in Chinese language and culture, and implements a wide range of interactive student-centred teaching and learning strategies in her classes. These include the use of music, role playing and various forms of multimedia.
Mengya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interpreting and Translation from the University of Western Sydney and a Master of Teaching from the Australian Catholic University. Through her tertiary education and teaching experience, Mengya has developed a deep understanding of the linguistic and cultural aspects of both Mandarin Chinese and English. This is reflected in her teaching.

I graduated with a BA in Ancient History with First Class Honours from Macquarie University in 2005. I was then awarded a research scholarship and gained a PhD in Egyptology in 2010. My expertise is in Ancient Egyptian language and religion. My thesis deals with the Egyptian conception of deviant behaviour and comparative religion between Egyptian and Biblical religious texts. I participated in archaeological excavations with Macquarie University’s Theban Tombs Project from 2005-2008. I have also taught Egyptology courses at Macquarie University since 2006 until today. Dalia Guillén has a degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the Pedagogical University Libertador (Venezuela), a post-graduate degree in Educational Sciences, speciality in Teaching, Reading and Writing Skills from the University of Guayana (Venezuela), and she has subsequently completed additional courses such as the Examiners accreditation course (Diploma of Spanish as Foreign Language [DELE] C1, C2, B1, B2, A1 and A2). She has been certified examiner of the Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) for different levels (basic to advanced).
Dalia has been teaching Spanish as a foreign language for several years (beginners to advanced levels). She has experience in managing mixed-level classes and different age groups. In her courses she always provides a variety of pedagogical material (textual and audio-visual) for students to improve their learning according to their levels and requirements.
Besides her lengthy experience as a Spanish Language Teacher, she also has extensive teaching experience at university and pre-university levels. She reached the category of Senior Lecturer in the Venezuelan university system. She has designed and taught subjects such as: “Comprehension and production of texts”; “Communication and linguistic expression”; “Strategies for effective text comprehension and production”; “Language comprehension and expression”; “Strategies for academic essay production”; “Epistemology and theory of communication and information”; “Semiotics”.
