Isabella Croce

Isabella was born in Milano, Italy. She holds a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters in Management of Technology and Entrepreneurship from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne.
After working in several fields for almost a decade, Isabella obtained a LOTE certificate from UNSW in order to teach Italian as a second language. She now teaches Italian to children, HSC students and adults, for several institutions and schools.
Isabella develops interactive, stimulating lessons and creates a relaxed atmosphere which makes the learning process enjoyable. She delivers lessons using extensive technology and a variety of material. Isabella loves the challenge of finding the best approach to ensure everyone succeeds and reaches their goals.
Andrew Crosbie

Andrew gained an MA in Philosophy from the University of Edinburgh and wrote his PhD at UNSW, on the subject of role models and responsibility, where he also taught a range of philosophy courses. Andrew additionally worked for several years as a manager at various not-for-profit organisations.
Andrew now runs his own ethics training and consulting practice (andrewcrosbie.com), through which he advises organisations how to promote ethical behaviour in their people in the course of their day-to-day activities. Andrew cares about promoting greater ethical leadership in our society. He believes ethics is a practice: you need to practise to get better at it. Much of his work is with high schools, where he runs workshops for students and professional development for teachers.
Blandine Crouch

Blandine is a French national who has been teaching French at Alliance Française in Sydney for more than 15 years (European Framework A1 to C1). She has taught both general and specialised French language to adults in corporate settings and has also conducted conversation courses at both intermediate and advanced levels.
In Paris, Blandine studied at ISIT and specialised in English and German translation. She holds the Naati (English-French) accreditation and has had ongoing FLE training (French as second language) at Alliance Française.
Blandine enjoys tailoring courses and training to suit specific needs and loves sharing the French culture with her students.

John Cullen is a Geriatrician based at Concord Hospital, Sydney Local Health District (SLHD). He has been Clinical Director for the LHD’s Clinical Stream which includes Aged Health services since 1997, and has extensive experience the development of health services for older people in inpatient and community settings. John has been the medical lead for the Geriatric Medicine TeleHealth collaboration between Concord Hospital / Sydney LHD and Western NSW LHD since it was established in 2009.John Cumming

John has been teaching for more than 20 years. During this time, he has designed courses and taught at TAFE and Universities at the undergraduate and post graduate levels, including helping PhD students manage research data.
In over 30 years of programming and data management, John has consulted for many companies large and small, including Westpac, Readers Digest, PwC, Thales and a research group for Novartis.
Along the way, John has achieved qualifications including an Associate Diploma in commercial data processing, certificates in Program Design and Networking, and progress towards a Masters degree.
John’s passion for learning has seen him teach himself several coding languages and explored programming in many ways including successfully programming computers to enhance the lives of people with disabilities.

Gus Ferreira is a native Portuguese speaker from Brazil who has had a passion for learning and teaching languages from a young age. After Gus turned 8, he was already teaching Portuguese to his immigrant siblings from Italy.
Gus has been delivering training in Brazilian Portuguese at the University of Sydney for 10 years, establishing himself as a highly experienced language facilitator. His extensive experience has allowed him to refine his teaching methods and connect with a diverse range of students, helping them to achieve higher proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese.
In addition to his teaching career, Gus has completed a Master's in Psychology, providing him with a deep understanding of human behaviour, learning processes, and language. His background in psychology supports and guides his teaching approach, allowing him to apply evidence-based strategies to language learning. Gus’s unique combination of linguistic expertise and psychological knowledge helps his students to excel.
Gus also believes language learning is a gateway to appreciating and embracing different cultures. He encourages his students to immerse themselves in Brazilian culture through music, literature, and social interactions, fostering a deeper connection with the language and its speakers.
