J.S. Breukelaar is the author of the novels American Monster and the Aurealis-nominated Aletheia, as well as the forthcoming collection of short stories, Collision. Michael Brewer holds a Bachelor of Music Studies (BMus) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music at the University of Sydney, a Diploma of Music (Dip) (Performance Double Major with High Distinction) from the Australian Institute of Music University and an Associate Diploma of Music (AMusA) from the Australiam Music Examination Board. Michael received the Dean’s Honour Award for The Most Outstanding Scholarship Student – Australian Institute of Music University and was the Winner of the Australian Composers Day Award – The Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2004. Harvey Broadbent AM is a well-known writer, lecturer, broadcaster, documentary film and TV producer. In January 2016 he received the prestigious award of Member of the Order of Australia for his life time’s work in researching and writing history and producing historical documentaries. The citation reads 'For significant service to the literary arts as an author and publisher, to the television industry as a producer, and to tertiary education.'
From 2005 to 2015, Harvey was Associate Professor and Senior Research Fellow in Modern History at Macquarie University. At Macquarie University he directed the Gallipoli Centenary Research Project – a project centred on the Turkish military archives and the Gallipoli Campaign. The outcomes of this project included two books; Gallipoli, the Turkish Defence and Defending Gallipoli, (MUP), his fourth and fifth books. From 1977 to 1999 he worked as a Producer and Executive Producer for the ABC.
Harvey is also an experienced lecturer and study tour group leader having led tours to Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Greece, and UK every year since 1992. He has travelled extensively in Turkey and the Eastern Mediterranean over many years, leading tours and making documentary films. He lectured regularly about Turkey, its history and that of the Eastern Mediterraean region for Sydney University Continuing Education and the Workers Education Association Sydney (WEA). Courses and lectures included: Kemal Ataturk: victor of Gallipoli, The Other Side: Turks at Gallipoli, The Gallipoli Battlefield, The Ottomans: Empire and Culture, The Aegean: Sea of Conflict, The Byzantines to the Ottomans, The Hittites, Classical Anatolia, From Constantinople to Istanbul.

Antony is an Adobe & Apple Certified Instructor who has been teaching design software for over 15 years. He began his training career working for Adobe in London where he taught Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe XD and Captivate. Antony has worked for many of the top training companies in London as well as the film and television industry in Soho. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge and seeing the transformation this brings about in his clients.
Antony has worked with a wide range of clients, including Microsoft, Yahoo, Westpac, Australian Federal Police, the London 2012 Olympics, and many others.

Martin Brown

Martin has had a rich and varied career in education and the arts. He started as a high school Science, Drama and English teacher before pursuing live theatre. He then moved into feature films as an art director, most notably on Strictly Ballroom.
He was Co-Producer on William Shakespeare’s Romeo+Juliet and the lead producer of Moulin Rouge. This film won the Golden Globe for Best Musical or Comedy of 2001 and was nominated for eight Academy Awards including Best Picture. Martin won the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Producer of the Year in 2001 from the Producers’ Guild of America.
In 2011, Martin was approached to join AFTRS, the National Film School. He was ultimately appointed Director of Award Courses, with responsibility for all accredited courses. He was responsible for developing 11 new Masters degrees, a new Bachelor of Arts degree, 8 new Graduate Certificates, 3 new Advanced Diplomas, 5 new Diplomas and numerous short courses. He also established and ran the Applied Industry Research unit at AFTRS which explored virtual reality, binaural audio, biometric feedback. Martin has a passionate interest in the intersection of technology and learning. In an increasingly complex, intermediated world, this exploration is more important than ever.
