Mona graduated from the University of Passau (Germany) in 2016, where she studied in a teacher education programme. While working as a language assistant for six months at a secondary school in London, Mona gained a first insight into teaching German as a foreign language. After finishing university, she worked in the field of German as a second language and taught refugees in Germany. Since April 2017, Mona has been enthusiastically teaching German at language Institutes around Sydney. Eleanor started her career as a writer. Next, she discovered a passion for adult education and moved into a training role at the University of Sydney. Mia is an experienced HSC marker and setter. She has been teaching or tutoring Science for more than 15 years, and was awarded the NSW Scientist of the Year for Leadership in Teaching and Learning in 2010. She has been Head of Science at International Grammar School and now works at a number of places including Ascham School, University of Sydney, University of Technology Sydney (UTS), NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA), Association of Independent Schools (AIS), Crispy Coaching and RiskAssess. When Mia was a student, she came First in the HSC in Earth and Environmental Science.
