Susanne Richter

Susanne Richter is a highly motivated and passionate Linguist, who received a 5 year full time postgraduate Magister Artium University degree (equal to the doctorate) in “German as Foreign Language” and “Hispanic studies” in 2007 from the well-known Herder Institute for German Linguistics and the Institute of Romance studies of University Leipzig, Germany.
During a 2 year full time Erasmus exchange University program, Susanne gained extensive intercultural competence at the University Valencia in Spain, where she also won valuable research experience conducting study projects in the field German phonetics for Spanish learners or interviewing spanish students regarding the matter of overcoming linguistic and cultural barriers.
Susanne has not only been teaching since 2008 for the Centre of Continuing Education, The University of Sydney, but also for Corporates like GOOGLE, High Schools and different private Language schools across Sydney. She is an accredited Teacher at “The NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)”.
Susanne has the ability to effectively communicate cross culturally and her focus lies on experiential learning, which is an active learning approach. She is constantly determined to create a learning environment of trust and positive vibes for everyone, and to be creative, innovative and diverse in the exercises she is creating, whilst explaining very well complex concepts of grammar. She is convinced that she is learning a lot from her students while being on the journey to become a better Teacher with every day.
Another fun fact to know about her: She is also a dancer and loves the art, beauty and creativity of dance where she also draws inspiration from for her language classes.

Galit Rieder-Ezra holds an MA in Language Teaching & Language Acquisition, a BA in Linguistics & Education, and a Language Teaching Certificate from Tel-Aviv University.
Galit has extensive experience in teaching the Hebrew language and Hebrew literature, both in Israel and in Australia (since 2001), including: Sydney University, various schools, adult education, curriculum design, teacher training and more. She is regularly invited to conferences such as Limmud Oz and the Jewish Educators Conference.
Galit is passionate about the Hebrew language in particular and languages in general as means of developing our thinking, cultural awareness and communication, as well as making connections and to better understand the Bible and ancient prayers from different sources.
Michael Rieke

Michael Rieke holds a Masters degree in Theology, from the University of Marburg combined with certified teaching qualifications. He has worked as a vicar and teacher for over 8 years in Germany, Israel and Palestine. He is currently teaching at the Goethe-Institut and the University of Sydney.Gina Rizakos

Gina has over twenty years of experience teaching Modern Greek to adults and children. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (majors: Modern Greek, Fine Arts and Social Anthropology), a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Modern Greek and English), a Master of Arts in Modern Greek, and a Diploma in Social Science (Social Anthropology).
Gina has worked as an interpreter and translator in Australia and Greece, and is currently editing a personal migrant history. She has researched the Greek-Australian migrant experience and continues her research into Greek food, culture and modern history when travelling in Greece. Gina has also attended language and Greek dance workshops in Greece.
CCE’s popular Modern Greek language and culture course for beginners has been taught by Gina since June 2000. Class highlights include getting ready for travel, Greek coffee making demonstrations, playing bingo in Greek, and sometimes, a Greek dance. ΓΕΙΑ ΣΟΥ!
