Maureen O’Shaughnessy holds a Masters of Creative Writing from UTS, completed in 2012. Previous work has been published in Best Australian Essays, Island, Blue Dog, Wet Ink, Best Music Writing under the Australian Sun, Australian Poetry Journal, Hide Your Fires, Rock Country, Artsrush and Swamp. Poems have been short-listed for several poetry prizes, among them the Bruce Dawe Poetry Prize and the Blake Poetry Prize: her poem, Thursday, July 15 was awarded the Gwen Harwood Poetry Prize (2010). Her first novel, Lakeland, (Ginninderra Press) a hybrid of verse and prose, was published in 2015. A verse novella, The Truth about A. was published in May 2017. She is currently engaged in studies for a PhD at Western Sydney University.Sean O'Toole

Sean is a respected professional in vocational education and training, holding the titles of Churchill Fellow and Fulbright professional scholar. Armed with Masters degrees in Education and Australian Studies, Sean has enriched his academic journey with studies in organisational behaviour at Harvard University.
With 25 years of experience in adult learning, Sean has led the learning function in three prominent government organisations. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping industry-leading and award-winning capability building initiatives. Sean's experience spans both vocational education and higher education, where he has also contributed as a member of university curriculum advisory boards.
Beyond his professional roles, Sean is a prolific author with five books and over 60 articles to his name, all centred on adult learning and organisational development. His consultancy work covers all sectors, where he collaborates with organisations, teams, and individuals to optimise performance. In the field of adult learning and organisational development, Sean provides valuable knowledge and practical insight, bringing a wealth of experience to support individuals and teams on their journey towards improved performance.

Stephanie is an experienced business writer and coach who has developed a sound method of teaching concise, jargon-free writing that tells the story and sets clear reader expectations. Her early career was in government and publishing, before she moved into business writing and coaching in 2006. She has led various writing workshops and programs throughout both the government and private sectors. Some of her notable clients include the Reserve Bank of Australia, NSW Health, Woolworths, Transport for NSW, Credit Corp Group, Law Society of NSW, NHVR, and various Local Councils. In 2013 Stephanie followed her business nose to become partner at Sydney creative agency, The Offices, where she oversees day-to-day proposal writing, content marketing and a range of corporate client writing projects.
Stephanie has a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Sydney, majoring in Linguistics and English Literature, and holds a Cert IV in Training and Assessment. She is a member of the Sydney Chamber of Commerce and volunteers her writing expertise for a number of not-for-profit organisations.

Kathleen Olive
Resume
Dr Kathleen Olive’s PhD examined the culture of fifteenth-century Florentine artisans, particularly the ways in which they created and controlled written self-representations. She has a teaching specialisation in Renaissance Italy and other aspects of Italian history, as well as Italian language, having taught at the University of Sydney and the University of Western Sydney. Kathleen has also taught undergraduate units in the history of medieval and early modern Europe at the University of Sydney.
She travels frequently to Italy, Spain, Turkey and America, both to lead tour groups and to pursue her current research projects.
Shoko Ono

Shoko has a combined Master of Arts in Japanese Studies and Australian Literature from the University of Sydney (USYD). She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Arts from University of NSW (UNSW), as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Obirin University, Tokyo.
She has taught Japanese language and culture at USYD, UNSW, Central Queensland University, and is currently also teaching at the University of Technology, Sydney. She has experience as a JLPT facilitator, as well as in HSC examination and curriculum development.
