Andrew began his career in the Commonwealth Public Service, reaching a senior management level before embarking on a career change that aligned with his natural interests in financial analysis, problem solving and training. After completing his Bachelor of Actuarial Studies, Andrew left the Public Service and moved into professional services, focusing on actuarial analysis and modelling at PwC, before having the opportunity to work for Fitch Ratings. He then moved into M&A, where he became a Vice President at J.P. Morgan and then CitiGroup. During this time, Andrew worked on a number of significant transactions, including the sale of Wizard Home Loans and its multibillion-dollar home loan book to CBA and the successful $12.2 billion dollar establishment of the Westfield Retail Trust.
Andrew then re-joined professional services, at PwC and then EY, before joining ClayMatter. His role with ClayMatter has enabled him to focus on providing models and analysis, to answer clients' pressing questions and provide them with training.
Andrew has built dozens of models spanning virtually all sectors, and has personally designed and delivered financial modelling training for hundreds of people around the world.
Anne Berger

Anne holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in German Studies with a focus on teaching German as a foreign and second language. She has several years of experience teaching German in group settings and private one-on-one tuition to students of all ages and levels. She has taught at many highly respected language institutions in Germany and Australia, including the Goethe-Institut, Sydney Community College and Berlitz Australia, and has experience in conducting examinations and level assessments. Yulia Berlin-Firer had a successful career as a Communication and Marketing consultant (B.A) in Israel before finding her passion as a Hebrew teacher. Yulia is developing a teaching career in Sydney, having trained at the Hebrew School “Discovering Hebrew” with Trainer and University Lecturer Galit Rieder-Ezra.
Her background as an account manager in a multi-cultural advertising agency, as well as her being trilingual – speaking Hebrew, Russian and English – have given her much experience with the acquisition of second languages. Having gone through the immigration process herself, she is very familiar with the language needs and linguistic choices that the Hebrew language entails.
Yulia teaches Russian and Hebrew in experiential ways and is the creator of a successful blog in Hebrew that offers parents creative ways of teaching their children.
Yulia is a passionate educator and loves sharing the Hebrew language and cultural heritage to students of all ages and backgrounds.
