Yulia Berlin-Firer had a successful career as a Communication and Marketing consultant (B.A) in Israel before finding her passion as a Hebrew teacher. Yulia is developing a teaching career in Sydney, having trained at the Hebrew School “Discovering Hebrew” with Trainer and University Lecturer Galit Rieder-Ezra.
Her background as an account manager in a multi-cultural advertising agency, as well as her being trilingual – speaking Hebrew, Russian and English – have given her much experience with the acquisition of second languages. Having gone through the immigration process herself, she is very familiar with the language needs and linguistic choices that the Hebrew language entails.
Yulia teaches Russian and Hebrew in experiential ways and is the creator of a successful blog in Hebrew that offers parents creative ways of teaching their children.
Yulia is a passionate educator and loves sharing the Hebrew language and cultural heritage to students of all ages and backgrounds.

Judith Beveridge was born in England in 1956 and came to Australia in 1960. She has published three books of poetry, The Domesticity of Giraffes Black Lightning Press, 1987), Accidental Grace (University of Queensland Press, 1996) and Wolf Notes (Giramondo Publishing, 2003), and has also co-edited an anthology of Australian poetry A Parachute of Blue (Round Table Publications,1996). She has won the Dame Mary Gilmour Award, the NSW Premier’s Poetry Prize, the Victorian Premier’s Poetry Prize, the Wesley Michel Wright Award and, most recently, the Josephine Ulrick National Poetry Prize, one of Australia’s most prestigious poetry awards, for Between the Palace and the Bodhi Tree (later published as part of Wolf Notes).Lijun Bi

Lijun Bi holds a PhD (in Chinese studies) and a DipEd from the University of New England, as well as an MA (in Confucianism) and a BA from Chinese Universities. She has extensive language teaching and program development at school and university level with over 10 years' experience.
