Dr Amandeep Hansra is a practising GP in Sydney and is a national expert in digital health and telehealth, with 7 years as Senior Medical Adviser at Medibank Health Solutions. She was the founding Chief Medical Officer and CEO of Telstra ReadyCare (first full telemedicine service in Australia) and was later appointed as the Chief Medical Officer for Telstra Health. She also established a telemedicine service in the Philippines in partnership with leading Swiss telemedicine provider Medgate.
Amandeep founded Creative Careers in Medicine (CCIM), a network of nearly 12,000 doctors, with a strong focus on digital health and start-ups. She works as a digital health consultant and has been involved in a number of government digital health reviews: the EPAS/ EMR Independent Review in South Australia; a review of the National Health Services Directory for the Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA); member of the independent panel advising on potential government involvement in the mHealth market for ADHA and the Australian Health Ministers’ Advisory Council (AHMAC); review of governance and quality of Tasmania after hours telehealth service for Healthdirect; assistance with the setup of the National Coronavirus Helpline commissioned by the Commonwealth government and design of a new omnichannel approach to Nurse Triage and GP services supported by the Commonwealth and state governments. She also sits on a number of boards and committees;

Denise Hantel

Denise is an experienced German teacher, who has been teaching at Australian tertiary institutions for almost 9 years. She has previously taught at Sydney University and worked as a tutor for the Women’s College. Since 2013, she has worked at the School of Humanities & Languages at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) where she has been teaching German at all language levels. She has also worked as a private tutor for adult learners, catering to a wide range of specific learner needs. Since 2015, Denise has been teaching German language courses at the Centre for Continuing Education where she is now also teaching a grammar refresher course (German Grammar Course).
Denise holds a Master of Arts with a double major in Teaching German as a Foreign Language, and English Linguistics & Literature. During her studies and beyond, she has been particularly interested in language teaching methodology, language acquisition research, grammar instruction strategies, phonetic instruction and the use of literature in the foreign language classroom. Denise loves teaching and is very passionate about language learning. She believes that learning a foreign language can broaden people’s horizons and enable them to see the world from different perspectives.
Gina Harb

Teaching has been Gina’s passion since she started tutoring in her high school days. She has since gone on to receive both her Bachelor of Education from the University of Lebanon and her Masters Degree in Social Studies. Gina previously worked for a statistics company, until she moved to help children affected by war through an organisation called RESTART. Over 15 years ago, she started teaching French and Arabic at St Maroun’s College and Holy Saviour School, and also conducted private tutoring to students and adults who wanted to expand their knowledge and improve their language in Arabic. Her vast experience in the classroom has taught her the importance not only of the content being provided, but the social wellbeing of students. She aims to engage and inspire students to achieve their goals through her adaptive style – by finding a way which best suits their individual needs.

Brent Harpur

Brent has been exhibiting his colourful paintings throughout Aotearoa since leaving art school in the early 90’s. One of the highlights of his career was working on a group mural project at the City Gallery in Wellington in early 2001. He is currently working on an instructional DVD on cartooning for kids to be sold early next year and a book of poetry & cartoons to be published in Portuguese for the Brazilian market (loosely based on his adventures there in 2005). In May 2008, Brent relocated to Australia. Over the last three years he has continued to work with a diverse range of people, from teaching animation to students at TAFE to working with street kids at OASIS Youth Centre in Surry Hills, Sydney.David Harrington

Formerly NSW Director of the Change Management Institute, Alan has delivered keynote lectures on the future of corporate transformation and created and delivered change management courses and workshops. Anthony Harris

Anthony Harris is an Associate Professor in the Discipline of Psychological Medicine, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Sydney, a senior staff specialist psychiatrist for the Prevention Early Intervention and Recovery Service in the Western Sydney Area Mental Health Service and the Director of the Clinical Disorders Unit at the Brain Dynamics Centre, Westmead Hospital.
After completing training as a psychiatrist in Sydney, Anthony worked as a consultant in the area of psychogeriatrics in the United Kingdom before completing research work at the Zentralinstitut für Seelische Gesundheit in Mannheim, Germany in the field of psychophysiology. On return to Australia, he has worked in clinical and administrative positions in the Wentworth and Western Area Mental Health Services in Sydney before specialising in the field of early intervention in psychosis. His principle research interests centre on the psychophysiology, neuroimaging and treatment of psychosis and schizophrenia. This work, which he has principally carried out in the Brain Dynamics Centre at Westmead Hospital, has included establishing a large database in the psychophysiology of people with psychosis (first episode psychosis and chronic schizophrenia) and functional magnetic resonance imaging research into the perception of facial emotion in schizophrenia.
