Antony Cirocco

Antony's film and television projects over the last 13 years have included producing and editing over 300 TVC’s. Every film or TV project he has worked on since 2005 has either been nominated for, or won an award, or broadcast on national television. Antony studied documentary editing at the prestigious Australian Film Television and Radio School, and the films he edited there have been screened internationally.

Antony has more than 14 years teaching experience, having taught and nurtured hundreds of students and emerging filmmakers. He has successfully managed education programs at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) and the International Screen Academy, and served as the Film and Television Head of Department for JMC Academy in Melbourne. Antony has also worked as a contract lecturer for various schools including the Academy of Information Technology, the International Film School Sydney, CATC Design School and Think Education. He specialises in teaching documentary, screen, music video, and TV commercial production.

Garner Clancey

Resume

Garner is a Lecturer of Criminology, Sydney Law School and has extensive experience in crime prevention. He has studied psychology, criminology and urban planning; taught crime prevention units across four universities; worked for juvenile justice and police agencies; and completed numerous crime prevention projects, including the development of crime prevention plans for local government authorities. Garner recently authored a resource manual on public space CCTV systems for the Australian Institute of Criminology and has created numerous crime prevention resources. Garner has also served on various Boards and Committees, including the National Children and Youth Law Centre Board, the Australian Crime Prevention Council Executive Committee and the NSW Young Offenders Advisory Council.

John Clark

John Clark has over 20 years experience within financial services during which time he has specialised in product management and development across both personal and business sectors. His extensive retail banking product experience covers the breadth of current accounts, loans, savings, credit cards and insurances.

As a product strategy consultant, John advises some of the leading Financial Service organisations across the world. His clients have included Barclays, LloydsTSB, Royal Bank of Scotland and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. John has also headed up product management and development functions within NatWest Bank, Goldfish and LloydsTSB. His achievements include pioneering the development of creditor products, leading the development and launch of banking and insurance products under the Goldfish brand and developing the first itemised money transmission tariff for small businesses.

John likes to take the theories behind product management and development and apply an element of pragmatism from his own experience. He also likes to look outside of financial services when using practical examples of product management and development. It is this outward looking approach which helps to generate thought provoking ideas and discussion from the delegates to help transform their business and giving them the cutting edge in the work place.

John Clarke

John Clarke’s PhD (completed through the School of Psychology at the University of Sydney) examined sexual homicide offenders and criminal profiling. John is also the main author of a best selling book examining psychopaths, sexual homicide, stalking, sexual assault, and criminal profiling. He has acted as a consultant in a number of sexual homicide and sexual assault investigations, for both law enforcement and criminal law practitioners. John has extensive experience lecturing in the areas of criminal profiling, sexual homicide, forensic psychology and investigative interviewing to members of numerous law enforcement agencies as well as legal professionals, crime fiction authors and the general public.

James Clifford

James Clifford is the Managing Solicitor of the Children’s Criminal Practice at the Aboriginal Legal Service (NSW/ACT), practising primarily on Gadigal and Dharug land. He completed his studies at the University of Sydney before commencing private practice in criminal and employment law. Since commencing with the Aboriginal Legal Service in 2017, he has represented Aboriginal young people extensively in the Youth Koori Court and mainstream courts.

Katrina Clifford

Katrina Clifford describes herself as a Jane Austen fanatic and a Jane Austen scholar. She recently completed her PhD in eighteenth-century female novelists, including Austen, has taught a number of undergraduate courses at Sydney University, and is an active member of the Jane Austen Society of Australia, regularly writing for their journal and newsletter. She also speaks at occasional community events, sharing her love of Austen with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Catherine Cloran has a Master of Visual Art from Monash University, Melbourne, a Bachelor of Arts, Fine Arts (Honours with Distinction) from the University of Western Sydney and a Diploma of Education from Sydney Teachers College. Catherine’s work has been shown in galleries such as The Fringe Club, Hong Kong and Shanghai Street Artspace and her work has appeared in group exhibitions around Australia.
