Peter brings deep experience and expertise, acquired over an extensive career in the Banking and Finance sector. His most recent position was with Westpac Banking Corporation, where he served as an Executive Director, responsible for the leadership of the global Asset Finance business.

Peter has broad International Executive leadership acumen across all major aspects of having responsibility for a large business within a financial institution including finance (profit & Loss, balance sheet and shareholder returns), risk governance, sustainability and ESG. He is skilled in strategy planning, creation, and execution, as well as people leadership, including workplace culture, mentoring, succession, and well-being.

Peter has developed strong customer relationships across various industries, including the public and private sectors and all levels of executive leadership. He is also experienced in change management and business transformation.

In addition to his industry experience, Peter undertakes workplace consulting, business training, coaching and mentoring. He helps individuals and teams create change, achieve their goals, and reach their potential.

Peter is also a Casual Academic with both the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and the University of Technology (UTS) in their respective business schools.

Peter holds a Master of Business and Finance from UTS, a Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Government) from the University of Sydney, and a Graduate Diploma in Leadership from UNSW. He is an accredited business coach and a member of the International Coaching Federation.

Peter is an enthusiastic teacher who combines his technical knowledge with hands-on industry experience. He has an engaging, authentic, and informed approach and seeks to inspire the people he works with.
