COVID-19 update: arrangement of our courses
We are now delivering courses online and in-person. Please check the delivery format of each class before enrolling.

If you want to learn how to say 'no', make your presence felt in a meeting or tell someone their behaviour is unsatisfactory (while keeping others onside), then this course is for you. You'll learn how to handle people who ignore you, interrupt you, unduly criticise you, make unreasonable requests or vent their anger against you.
A key tool you will explore and use is Yvonne Collier's LAFFe to Success Behavioural Model to become more assertive. You will discover your dominant behavioural mode, and how to adopt different modes to establish rapport with others, to help you get want you want, ethically. You will develop your flexibility as you learn to walk and talk all four modes so you can communicate and relate to anyone, anywhere, anytime, you choose!
LAFFe to Success is the 'foundation tool' to this course. You will also explore and experience further 'people skills' models and tools that integrate' extend and maximize your LAFFe to Success model.

What others say.
- This course was exactly what I was looking for and gave me plenty of time to ask questions and interact with both the teacher and other students. I especially like the role playing teaching methods used. I am hoping to complete the advanced course later in the year.
- Very impressed by this CCE course I attended. I was so happy, that after communicating my feedback at work, I got an approval for the advanced course on the same topic instantly.
- We were lucky to have a smaller group which I feel made the discussions more lively. Our tutor was excellent and provided us with plenty of knowledge and guidance whilst still allowing us to discover things for ourselves.
